Church Inclusion (Roofbreaker) Co-ordinator
Part-time, 3 years, Home-based + Travel (£23,750 FTE)
Through the Roof is a Christian disability charity whose mission is to transform lives through Jesus with disabled people.
We recognize and value the contributions that disabled people can make to enrich church life. Funding has been awarded to us to increase the coverage of our Roofbreaker initiative across the UK.
This new job provides the opportunity to make a positive difference to some of the most vulnerable people in the country. If you have a passion to enable disabled people to belong and contribute to God’s kingdom, this role might be for you.
The successful candidate will be someone with a strong Christian faith, and a heart for disabled people. They will also be a good people manager to support and develop our networks of volunteer Roofbreakers (Disability Ambassadors).
The postholder will be required to work flexibly and travel to initiate and facilitate new Network meetings in different locations. They will support existing local volunteer Network Co-ordinators and oversee the administration of Roofbreaker events, for the purposes of furthering God’s kingdom amongst disabled people and their families.
